Let them eat cake!

First I'll show you Brian and Anna's Rehearsal Dinner cake. It's decorated with Wall-E and Eva! Apparently, Brian and Anna both love this Pixar movie.

Some of you may remember the Wedding Invitation which I had scanned back in the spring. Anna seriously loves Turtles (바다거북)!

And here is their Wedding Cake!

And this is the top of the cake!

How cute is that? And it was yummy, too! A layered, light, moist white cake with raspberry filling between the layers. mmmmm.... I didn't think to photograph my cake before I gobbled it all up! Bad blogger! :]

Today is going to be lots of fun here at the Swamp! This afternoon my neighbors Mike and Peggy are hosting a Poolside Neighborhood BBQ. Nothing fancy, just burgers and hot dogs and some simple sides like baked beans, pasta salad, chips, etc. It sounds like lots of fun and very relaxing - since I don't have to do a thing except walk across the street and slip into the pool! Woohoo!

I hope your day is lovely as we start this much-needed 3-day Labor Day weekend! I know mine will be! Big Hugs ♥xo

I could go for a big ole' slice of cake myself right now but alas, there is nary a piece to be found and I'm too lazy to bake one!

The turtles on top are just the cutest ever and the cake sounds totally delicious!

Sounds like a good time over at Mike and Peggy's, too! I wish I had neighbors like that but alas, I very rarely see any of my neighbors except in passing.

Hard to believe that it was just a week ago that I was laughing it up with your old classmates at The Jade and enjoying my third Midori Sour of the night!

I love people who are willing to do away with formality and formalness and show their personality. What a fun yet beautiful wedding cake!
