I owe these photos to MotherDear. We were outside Sunday night after dinner, having our glass of wine when she said "Oooh, a full Moon! You should go get your camera!" And so, I did!
It was pre-dusk when I took them. Here is Dad looking at the Moon.
Although my little Point and Shoot doesn't have a great zoom, zoom I did!
I'm pinching my pennies, saving up for a DSLR - but not at all bad, for a little PowerShot S2 IS, eh?

Gandalf is making sure everything is OK with Grampy's lawn mower. Sometimes he takes a nap on the seat, under the cover. In full sun it's about a million degrees under the cover. It doesn't seem to bother him at all!
Did anyone else just realize it's Friday the 13th? I am not superstitious, so it doesn't bother me in the least. I walk under tall ladders and step on cracks and everything. Happy Friday to you all!

I am so jealous. Try as I might, I just can't get a good picture of the moon. AND I HAVE A GOOD DSLR!!! I don't know what my problem is, but they just don't turn out. Your are absolutely beautiful! Excellent job!
Don't be too anxious to get rid of that little Point and Shoot of yours as it takes gorgeous moon pictures - something I have found to be nearly impossible with my fancy-dancy DSLR! One of my co-workers and I were talking last night about how hard it is to get a good shot of the moon and I thought of you as I knew you'd managed it in the past - just as you managed it again!
Maybe next month I won't be at work for the full moon and can give it another go, though I won't hold my breath!

Hi Barb, your point and shoot camera works better than mine. I can't take Moon pictures. My old Kodak did before Adi pulled it off the serving bar.
